An elf that, with their umbral power, spreads music and stories across worlds and wherever they go.(That's a fancy way to say I enjoy talking about and streaming video games, and my favorite things and people in my life.)
On their original world, Timpani was a bard and a chronic wanderer. They had a hard time sitting still, always wanting to see new people and things. It gave them more stories to tell and songs to sing about the beauty of their world. And it encouraged them to be prouder and prouder of who they were, as they told their own story alongside it.On one of Timpani's grand adventures, they found a cave that they'd never seen before. In that case was a sight they'd never seen before either: a pair of... timpani mallets? The elf went to pick them up without hesitation, always enticed by new musical curiosities.Unbeknownst to them, this was meant to be a trap laid by creatures from the void. Timpani's world had always been plagued by this, in the form of artifacts meant to curse and corrupt hapless people to darkness. The mallets that Timpani blindly grabbed were another of these artifacts.On grabbing the mallets, Timpani was suddenly filled with umbral energy, and knowledge that they would never have been aware of before. Worlds beyond their own, and the power to traverse them as desired. Power to shape, and break, life as they knew it, like the beings of the void hoped for to spread chaos.Instead, however, Timpani simply opened a portal with the mallets and left. That's it. Just left. The void creatures didn't expect that.Instead of being corrupted, Timpani seemed... destined for holding this umbral power. All it really did was heighten their desire to see the wonders of the world. Of all worlds. Now they were aware of endless new adventures, challenges, and people to learn from and share their songs with. Timpani was more than ready to see and do more than they could have ever imagined.Timpani loves sharing the stories they find across their interdimensional travels, often setting up concerts for people to get some respite and entertainment over a new tale or legend. Hopefully you'll join them for a while, if you can find them!(I'd like to continue fleshing this out, though it won't be too crazy or really affect the content I put out regardless)
I love FFXIV! It's meant a lot to me as it's helped me figure out my identity (including my online presence/appearance). I try and do all kinds of things in the game, though I tend to focus heavily on high-end raiding and gposing.
